The biggest benefit of working with Amanda was the chance to reflect on my thoughts and whether or not they were serving me. I was surprised to find that certain thoughts that I had held as "truth" for years didn't stand up to the scrutiny of being questioned. I learned to substitute thoughts that I didn't want with alternate thoughts I could believe. This helped me to not feel as panicked about things in my life that I couldn't control.
